Back to real life

Whoowee. What a whirlwind Alt Summit always is – in the best possible way. This photo pretty much sums it up. I’m back to Seattle after a harrowing escape from a very snowy Salt Lake City airport and trying to find my place back in “real life”.

Alt this year felt 180 degrees different than 2012 for me. Instead of bursting with new knowledge and tasks to implement, I feel like I made some lasting connections and did some deeper thinking about creativity and this space of ours. A lot to say, yet. I need a couple days for it all to sink in, but don’t worry I’ll be doing a few recaps here later in the week. I’m also going to be sharing what I learned at the Assemble Shop blog later in the week (I’ll let you know when!).

In the meantime, there are still holiday thoughts to share as well as some fun engagement and wedding developments (things are starting to come together!). I’ve been working with some fabulous creative ladies in the last couple months and I can’t wait to share their talents with you all!!

So tell me – what did you do this weekend?

  1. I know what you mean about “real world”. Alt was seriously an other-worldly experience! It was so lovely meeting you at Alt! And I have to say I am a bit obsessed with your card! It’s on display in my craft room!
