the garden is growing… most notably dahlias and tomatoes.  yum!

I was out there putzing around yesterday and spotted this hosta…

Now, we have 5 other hostas around the yard that look great.  Normal.

That guy?!?  what’s up with him?  Does anyone know?  I think he started out a smidge smaller, but then instead of getting fuller, these small leaves started growing randomly all around him.  Hard to explain, but it was strange. It looked more like we were growing dozens of hosta babies.   No flowers either.  Now, while some of the other hostas leaves are beginning to get yellow twinges, this guy remains looking strange.

Thoughts, ideas, does he need a new home? more light? more shade?  more water?
